Maybe we should have called ahead to find out things before choosing this hill over the others in the area. - 1 / 5By Marty FistI want this place to succeed, but it is poorly run by an obnoxious hothead who has a long history of failed endeavors. The race program produces no one without the last name Montgomery, the terrain is just OK, and the marginal latitude leaves this place more often muddy than snowy.
Yes, it's fine for your kid's high school ski club, but beyond that, head north if you're any kind of a real ski or board enthusiast. Or if you have young kids, go to Willard. Better beginner programs, much cheaper and much better management.August 02, 2016
